I’m Eeva. Like many Polynesians, I live on the island of Tahiti. Other Polynesians live on a vast string of islands in the Pacific Ocean from Hawaii to New Zealand. I love the water and spend much of my afternoons in the crystal-clear ocean. In school, I’m learning to speak English as well as Tahitian to help me keep my culture alive. Today I’m wearing a grass skirt to perform at a Luau.
