Ha’u! That’s hello in Hopi! My name is Tiponi which means “Child of Importance”. I live in Northeastern Arizona with my family near where our ancestors have lived for thousands of years. I speak English as well as my native Hopi language. Here I am pictured in traditional dress in a school play to commemorate my grandmother.
