مرحبا (marhabaan)! I am Shada meaning “Beautiful Fragrance” in Arabic, the main language spoken in Saudi Arabia where I am from. I come from a large family, with many of my extended family living close by. I choose to wear a burka, like my mother and grandmother when I am not at home because I devoutly follow Islam teachings.
